Bright Signs On The Horizon
19/05/2010
Horizon has announced that it has set up a sister company, Horizon BSF, to focus solely on products for the education market, and has appointed two additional Directors to run this new business.
Matthew Wilson partnered with Horizon to set up Horizon BSF and has taken on the role of Operations Director. He had previously worked as a supervisor at Horizon before leaving to set up his own business offering products to the education market. On returning to set up Horizon BSF, Matthew will focus on FFE (fixed furniture and equipment) projects associated with the Government’s ‘Building Schools for the Future’ investment and renovation initiative.
Sarah Devaney has also joined Horizon BSF in the position of Sales and Marketing Director. She has considerable experience of the market, having worked in the education industry for over 10 years, first as a buyer and then in sales. Sarah was ready for a new challenge and is committed to playing a hands-on role in the company, forging relationships with customers, offering a better service and influencing new product development.
Keith Ball, Director of Horizon Signs, commented: “This expansion is fantastic for the company. Horizon is very successful across many different industry sectors but last year we saw a great opportunity to invest in the education market as an area for growth. With Horizon BSF we will be able to achieve this objective and develop the business as a whole.”
